Phases of Matter

What are the phases of matter?
There are 4 phases of matter named: Liquid, Solid, Gas, and Plasma. Liquid is described as having particles and molecules are not close together and not concentrated. Solid has molecules very concentrated which makes it harder. Gas has its molecules very spread out which makes it less concentrated. Plasma is a gas that is composed of free floating ions.

How is on phase of matter different than another phase? There is a very big difference between the matter phases. Solid has a very focused energy which makes it harder. While a liquid is more soft and has a spread out molecules.

Design 3 tests that you can do to determine whether an object is on of the 3 common phases of matter? For a liquid you can let it drip to see if it has a spread molecules. We can test that by putting the liquid in a container and see if it will take the shape of the container. We know a solid is something that is hard. We can test that by putting it in a bag and if the same shape you know its a solid.
